美國、加拿大過去數月來有大批冷凍商品,因李斯特菌感染風險而遭大規模召回,而生產熱狗的“Bar-S”食品公司周二也宣布召回旗下多款熱狗商品,規模將近40萬磅重。
李斯特菌由食物傳染,但是出了名的難追蹤,因為潛伏期短至3天,長至70天,而且在低溫環境下也能存活。特別容易感然李斯特菌的族群有小孩、老人、孕婦以及免疫系統有問題的病患。感染此細菌的癥狀有發燒、肌肉痠痛、頭痛、頸部僵硬、頭腦混亂和失去平衡感。
根據美國農業部的食品安全檢測服務處表示,“Bar-S”這批可能受李斯特菌感染的商品是在7月10-13日生產,呼吁持有下列商品的消費者不要食用、并將商品退回。詳細產品規格如下:
